Ever been to a party where they've had you guess how many of something there is in a jar? I've seen these at Bridal Showers before, but they can also be great birthday party games and school. They're also a good tool for kids to practice estimating in school. Many are printable from Etsy and I love supporting small businesses whenever possible. I hope you and your kids enjoy these guessing games!

While candy corn is not everyone's favorite, it does make for a fun and festive game. It can be used for adults or kids and it's a simple guessing game for any age. A kid's birthday party is the perfect occasion for this as well.

Candy guessing games are always popular, especially for kids. All you need is a bag of candy and a jar. Alternatively, you can use anything you have that is red, green, and white, like the pom poms shown here. My son's school has a wellness policy, so they wouldn't be able to use the candy guessing game.

Here's one for young kids. Having the first 3 jars helps them visualize what 1, 3, and 6 look like so they can estimate or guess how many are in the last jar. Depending on the time of year, you could use any random items for this.

What a cute free printable for Easter. This would be great for school or an Easter party. Kids would also need to keep in mind that there are eggs they can't see in the basket. I would love to know what kind of printer they used to get it to look so vibrant.

Another non-candy guessing game that is super cute too. Also, there's no printing required, which is a bonus in my book. I would set this up at the door for Easter or a kid's birthday party that's near Easter or for an animal-themed party.

A candy guessing game that is easy and fun. Simply fill a clear container with conversation hearts and print out the sign and cards. Kids could win the candy jar or another prize depending on where it is being used.

I love this Hershey Kisses game sign. It would be perfect for Valentine's Day or a Carnival-themed birthday party. You'll love this printable candy game, no matter what occasion you use it for.

Here's a candy guessing game that is different than the others. Here you are guessing how many of each color candy is in the package, but then they have to count how many there really are and do some subtracting to find the difference. The cards are included and make for a great math game of estimation and subtraction.

What a perfect kids' birthday party game. It's a game that most, if not all kids will participate in since it requires a small amount of their time and the reward is a lot of gumballs!! Plus, the festive colors contribute to the decor.

My two-year-old would love this guessing game, even if she can't tell me how many cookies are in the jar. This will give you ideas for a whole Sesame Street-themed birthday party too!! This is a must-have for your kid's birthday party.

If your kid loves Legos, then be sure to include this in their birthday party games. You could also get the candy that looks like Lego bricks to turn it into a candy guessing game. The possibilities are endless, just like they are when playing with Legos. Be sure to have plenty on hand for kids to build whatever they can dream up.

I've never been to a golf-themed birthday party, but this easy guessing game looks fun. There are a ton of great ideas at this link to throw your own golf birthday party as well. I also appreciate that it's not a candy-guessing game.

I love these labels and they are so versatile. They can be used at school, the library, or at home. Just print them out and stick them on a jar with whatever candy matches the label. They are so motivational to get kids reading and learning as well.

Who doesn't love Dr. Seuss? Here it's set up in a classroom, however, I would use it at kids' birthday parties. They'll love guessing how many Goldfish are in the fishbowl and then they can all eat some! You could set up some other fish card games to go along with this one as well.

I love this idea for a kid's birthday party! Set it up, have kids guess how many sprinkles there are, and then use them to make ice cream sundaes! Most birthday party games aren't this much fun. The examples use Mike and Ike candy, so you don't have to drive yourself crazy trying to count tiny sprinkles, FYI.

Need a generic candy guessing game, then look no further. This one is printable and comes with the option of writing the names and guesses on 1 paper or individual slips of paper. Add this to your arsenal of birthday party games.

If your child is into mermaids, this will make for an amazing kids' birthday party game. My local candy shop even has gummy mermaid tails, but you can always use any fish candy you can find. Purple is my favorite color, which is what really stood out to me with this printable.

Even though it's listed as a baby shower game, this is totally usable for a kid's birthday party. You may choose to use full-sized balls and then reuse them for other birthday party games after everyone makes their guess.

Fill a jar with any balloons and have kids guess how many there are inside. I would use water balloons and then fill up them for a water balloon fight after. I like having the guessing game be multipurpose!
